1. In the year 2011, the Government Schedule of permissible Restricted
Holiday shall be observed by the University.
2. There may be in addition to the above holidays, five discretionary holidays
to be observed on such occasions as foundation day, College day, etc.
special Emergencies i.e. on the occasion of a death. These discretionary
holiday will not be utilized by the Colleges to celebrate communal or
sectional festivals.
