LexFest ia an annual intra-college fest of Law Faculty ,AU is back . For students of law, by students of law, with only students of law. The fest encompasses much of the cultural, literary, public speaking and sports spectrum, i.e. there are lots of events. Basically a chance for law faculty students to forget about the law and put up brightly coloured paper and beautiful rangoli designs all over the place…LexFest is an ambition of legal brains to do something for law mix leisure .

LexFest is the annual cultural festival of Law Faculty ,Allahabad University
, held in mid March, and is one of the most popular
cultural festivals in University of Allahabad. LexFest is held for 2 days
which draws a footfall of about 500 students of law faculty. LexFest, now in its fifth edition, has snowballed
to become one of the biggest fests. The festival draws the best
talents of Law Faculty to its competitions, covering areas ranging from music
and drama to literary, games, arts and quizzing. There are several events
focussed on building social responsibility amongst the youth. Dramas like BHARAT BHRAMAN and Skid programmes by various groups
are an added attraction. LexFest is all about bigger, more enthusiastic
participation, high performance competitions, amazing pro shows, innovative
events and attractive prizes.
In Past Edition of LexFest 11 BHARAT BHRAMAN . was the
biggest crowd puller. More than 20 students had performed representing the cultural heritage of Incredible India.All participants of this programmes had been awarded by Vice Chancellor of AU. It was a big achievement for us.
Competitions
LexFest is inclusive of exciting competitions and provide a platform to all the students of law department to show off their talents. It may be a cool Rangoli competitions to serious divine drams like CHNDALIKAA.
The list of formal competitive events are ;
- Literary events that include Debates, Creative Writing,
discussions, word games and other writing contests in English - Dramatic events that include Mono Acting,
- Dance events, such as solo and group dancing. Folk Dances of India
- Music events such as Solo singing, Classical vocals, Ghazal Singing.
Light Music, Anthakshari . - Art events such as Painting , Veg Carving,
Junk Arts and Collage, - Public speaking events such as Just a Minute (JAM),
Ship Wreck, - Creative events such as Rangoli, Ad Mad
- Film/movie making and Photography contests, judged by
acclaimed directors - PC and WiFi Gaming events
- Multiple category quizzes
- Professional shows, entertaining guest lectures and
Celebrity concerts
