PAY SCALE: Rs.27,700-44,770

AGE LIMIT: A candidate must have attained the age of 22  on or before 1st March, 2013.
And less than 30 years.

Examination Fee:General / Unreserved category Rs.250/-.
SC/ST/OPRC Rs.63/-.

QUALIFICATIONS:
a)candidate must  have attained law graduate degree before first of March, 2013, and must be registered in the Bar Council of India.
b) This is expected that the candidate well versed  with local custom of State of Himachal Pradesh.Further .a candidate must have capacity to work in peculiar condition of State of Himachal Pradesh.

SCHEME OF H.P. JUDICIAL SERVICE COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION-2013

It is a three stage examination
(a) Preliminary(objective type)
(b) Mains (written)
(c)VIVA- VOCE (Interview )


1. Preliminary Examination:
The preliminary examination shall consist of
three papers of 100 Marks each Question shall be of objective type for the 1 hour duration
PAPER I : Civil Law-I
PAPR II :Civil Law-II
PAPER III: Criminal Law


2.Main (Narrative) Examination:
Main Examination shall  consist of five law papers as follows:-

PAPER-I Civil Law-I (for 200 Marks)
PAPER-II Civil Law-II (for 200 Marks)
PAPER_III Criminal Law(for 200 Marks)
PAPER-IV English Composition (for200 Marks)
PAPER-V Language (Hindi)( for100 Marks)

3.VIVA- VOCE (Interview )

Interview will be of 100 marks

SYLLABUS FOR SEMESTER VI

 I - Jurisprudence II this paper shall consist of various jural concepts like, right duties,possession  ,sources of law,ownership etc

 II - Legal Philosophy including Theory of Justice: this paper shall consist of  diffrerent thoughts about law of justice by Marxisms ,Idealism ,Pragmatism etc.

III - Law of Crimes II: this paper shall consist of topic covered under Section 106 to Section 511  ,like mischief ,murder ,theft ,conspiracy etc.

 IV - Property Law II:this paper shall consist of easement ,gift,sale ,lease etc.

V - Land Laws :this paper shall consist of U.P. Zamindari Abolition and Land Reform Act ,1950 and Land Revenue Act .


VI - Interpretation of Statutes :this paper shall consist of rules of interpretation like golden rule mischief rule ,sources for interpretation like preamble, and Interpretation of Constitution   etc
